[ It hadn’t been as bad as she’d suspected. Letting Kanda do something that he wanted to do (had asked nicely for) seemed to have been a good idea -- if his behaviour was anything to go by. Granted, he still got on her nerves -- but this? Fou could deal with a more polite(however slight that was) Kanda.
She made the trek back to the house with her arms crossed behind her head. A couple hours spent on the beach was enough, she figured. And... well, Fou had figured Kanda had been through enough.
She opened the front door to the house, stepping inside and closing it behind them. Turning her head to look down at Kanda, she finally spoke as she headed down the hall towards the kitchen. ]
