Despite the intruders, despite the sense of a threat possibly arising for them in the near future, the two large creatures merely watched over the trio. Their bright blue eyes peered over at them every now and then, flicking their tails back and forth in a casual manner.
One, perhaps she was the female as she was just slightly smaller than the other, moved swiftly to the right side of the room to climb up the steps to a ledge that was just over five feet from the ground, not making a single sound against the cement beneath her paws as she did so. She laid herself out across the ledge, basking in the setting sun, while she crossed one paw over the other and peered down at the trio, watching them with a concentration that was almost strange for a wild creature
