WHO: Lelouch Lamperouge and Kururgi Suzaku. WHAT: Welcome wagon. So to speak. WHERE: The docks, then... well, we'll see. WHEN: December 19th, evening-ish?
Suzaku heard the noises of breath and turned away from watching the nightly waves crashed against the shore. At first, the brunette did not believed that Lelouch was really here and that everything around him was a dream or it can be a nightmare. He can never be sure anymore ever since he had followed through with the plan and killed his best friend, his emperor and it would take only a moment for Suzaku to say something. Something serious? No, the brunette smiled happily and chuckled softly, "You're a little late." He teased the other playfully.
The warlock gave the the knight a half-hearted glare as he approached, muttering under his breath just loudly enough to be heard.
"Not all of us can outrun bullets."
It really was good to see Suzaku again, though Lelouch wasn't likely to admit it to himself, let alone the Japanese boy.
"Come along. You'll catch a cold if you stay too long out here. I'll explain the situation as we go."
Rei didn't like men in general, and so Lelouch knew better than to invite Suzaku back to the Senshi house... but the pizzeria was closed for the evening, and that would provide a nice, private place to talk for the moment.
The brunette just smiled at him in return knowing that Lelouch means well. He rubs the back of his neck sheepishly and followed Lelouch right behind him, "Where are we heading to?" He asked the other since he's in a happy mood just to see Lelouch again. He didn't want him to leave.
"Somewhere we can speak without being overheard; in the meantime, I'll tell you what anyone who's come here knows. I assume some of the others on the journals have at least attempted to give some explanation?"
He wasn't surprised to see Suzaku smile, and, despite himself, there might have been a small smile on the Britannian boy's lips as they walked together. Suzaku always had been the optimist of the two of them, and was doubtless looking at the good side of the situation, from his point of view: Lelouch somehow being alive, despite having been killed by Suzaku, without bothering to consider the ramifications of the absence of Zero at Nunnally's side. Of course, given the way things worked here, he shouldn't worry, but he didn't know that and he still wasn't worried. Sometimes Lelouch envied how carefree his friend could be.
