WHO: Lelouch Lamperouge and Kururgi Suzaku.
WHAT: Welcome wagon. So to speak.
WHERE: The docks, then... well, we'll see.
WHEN: December 19th, evening-ish?
When Lelouch said he'd be there soon, what he really meant was "as soon as possible". Even if Lelouch had been in Rivelata for months, now, that had done nothing to change the fact that he was just about the least athletic student in the history of Ashford Academy. He had made, for all his formidable intellect, the very dire mistake of trying to run all the way from the Housing District to the docks. He didn't even make it out of the Housing District before he was gasping for breath.
At that point, he decided that a brisk walk would suffice.
And so, he arrived at the docks... less soon than he had hoped, and out of breath, though thankfully not gasping for it, violet gaze searching for that tall, familiar figure he hadn't seen in half a year, and half-expected to never see again.
Suzaku. His worst enemy. His best friend. The one without whom everything might have gone perfectly, and the one without whom nothing would have worked. He was here now, as Nunnally had been, as Euphie had been... Who could tell how long he would stay before being snatched away? Whether this was a Christmas gift or another well-disguised torment remained to be seen, and Lelouch, as always-- well, most of the time-- was cautious in assessing the situation.
