After throwing that hateful package into the ocean, Erza wandered through the city streets, lost in thought. She could remember being a child under Lucy and Sachiko's care, and felt something like humiliation rush over her for a moment. Somehow, she'd been careless and allowed such a thing to happen, and Lucy...everyone had seen what she'd been like before she gained her magic.
Weak.
There was something else that she was remembering now, and that was the bandage on Sachiko's neck. How she hadn't shown up to Lucy's house, and how when Erza saw her later, she had the bandage. And she'd been pale, and listless. Even as a child, she'd seen that.

Erza knew better than anyone that people had the right to their secrets, but she did want to at least attempt to help Sachiko with...whichever problem she was having at the moment. She believed in repaying debts, and she had a great debt to repay to Sachiko.
As she had little concept of social grace, however, that desire to help ended with her standing below Sachiko's window and gently throwing a pebble at it in order to wake the other girl up. Better this way, than waking up the entire house, she reasoned. That would be rude.
