Adam was both nervous and curious as to what he would learn from his recent friend, Gabriel. There was a tone in the text alone that spoke of something dark and sad. He had experience with this sort of thing though. It was never uncommon for a Ranger to have gone bad, but it was never uncommon for a Ranger to be brought back to the good side as well.
He just wondered if Gabriel fell under that category. He didn't know, but he'd soon find out, he supposed.
