WHO: Nill [
wingsnotwords], anyone else who happens upon the girl.
WHAT: Taking Heine for a walk to the beach.
WHERE: The beach!
WHEN: Today, mid-afternoon.
There was a light rain, gently drizzling down on the sandy beach. There was that warm smell to the air that came from the humidity of the warm afternoon and the quiet sounds of the ocean washing up against the sandy shore all made it easier to relax. Perhaps it was the rain, though, that kept people away from the comfortable atmosphere of the beach, leaving the only two figures that were inhabiting it being a small blond girl with snow-white wings on her back, and a white and gray dog that was following her, exploring the area and occasionally jumping at Nill as though to get the girl to join him in running about.
Nill seemed happy enough to stand there with her umbrella held over her shoulder to cover both her head and wings, watching the long-haired, almost fully-grown dog get it's exercise from exploring.
Her eyes kept drifting from the white and grey dog to look over the horizon of the ocean. If the boat came, maybe Priest, Heine, Badou or Naoto would be there. Maybe Rock would even come back. She heard of people going missing here so often, but the winged mute tried not to think on it. It was easier to just not think about it and just enjoy what she had while hoping for a familiar face from her own 'world.'
There was no harm in hoping, was there? Waiting, hoping, wishing. It would come true someday, wouldn't it? And for now, she had nothing to worry over and she would keep telling herself that.
A silent yawn escaped her and she turned her attention back to Heine, noticing the white dog poking at something with it's nose and then jumping back when it moved. Her head tilted to the side, and she quietly made her way over and bent her knees to kneel down, tucking her lovely little dress in as she did so, a couple feet from what the dog was investigating: a starfish, apparently washed up in the waves of the ocean.
