WHEN:After Susumu leaves in the morning and Zach sees Luke’s arrival in the journals
WARNINGS:Zach beating, language, talk of drugs and sex
Zach had been surprised when he’d happened across one of the newcomers, as he’d flipped through the journals, looking for taunts or news buzzing from his hacking prank. Heh. Fucking Dictator had deserved it. He’d deserved worse, really, but Zach had pulled out before he caused too much trouble.
He realized while pulling on his new black velvet jacket that he shouldn’t have been so surprised. People from whatever world were showing up in pairs or in huge clumps, so it might have only been a matter of time before someone from his own arrived. Why couldn’t it have been Eddy, or someone he was friends with?
He eyed the blood on his bed, left over from Susumu’s spending the night, and slipped his running shoes onto his bare feet. Well, even if it wasn’t Eddy, the guy had drugs, and if he was a friend of Tran’s, he had to be pleasant enough. Tran was an airhead but all of his friends were hot and fuckable (and he had pretty much fucked them all some ago), and into the same party scene, so maybe they’d be entertaining enough.
He walked leisurely across the market, heading towards the port to find this friend of Tran’s, scanning the crowds for any sign of anyone he might recognise.
