This did mean she was stuck wearing a rather gaudy, sparkling sweat-shirt and one of Iris's masterpieces of decoration also known, in less glorious days, as a skirt.
She managed to tear her eyes away from staring at the buildings and the people to nod for Trust's sake. "I don't know about really warm, but it's definitely warmer. Busier, too." Then again, that was likely just because of their current location, as opposed to the moment of peace they'd been experiencing back in the park.

Seven edged toward the mass of people, willing to take Trust's word that the market was busier than at Edensphere. She had absolutely no idea herself.
Picking one of the friendlier faces, she resolved to ask about a map, or any sort of information hub. "Is there anything particular you're looking for, Trust?" She wanted an idea of what to ask anyone she managed to get talking.

As usual, food was running scarce at the shop, and Kurama was on his weekly run to the Market - and it was a good thing there were two sources of income in this household, with as much food as Goku managed to pack away. Honestly, Kurama really wasn't sure where he put it all.
There were certainly strangers in the Marketplace, but Kurama wove easily in and out of them, minding his own business for the most part...until one of them caught his eye.
That is most definitely not human, he thought, eyeing the creature with stripes and pointed ears. Demonic? Maybe. But nothing I've ever seen before - except...He thought for a moment, not realizing he'd stopped, his hands resting lightly on the fruits he'd been perusing. He would never do something quite so obvious as turn and stare, but his eyes were narrowed as he ( ... )

Sure. Maybe the locals weren't bothering to talk to them, but she? Newly "rebirthed" or whatever she was, she could talk to the locals.
Likely because she was so keyed into anyone looking at herself or her current companion with anything approaching interest - interest meant opportunity, after all - she noticed someone almost observing Trust. Well, then, that looked like a great place to strike up next.
"Let me try one more time," she called back over her shoulder, putting on her sweetest smile as she approached the stranger at the fruit stand. "Hello!" She was sounding pretty cheerful for someone feeling as frustrated as she was. "Usually my friend charges when he's being scrutinized like that, but he's feeling generous. No fee, if you'll let us know if there's someplace to get a map around here, as well as where my friend can go to work off a little extra energy." Or brawl. It ( ... )

Okay, because he liked torturing her, yeah, but besides that.
Muttering irritatedly to herself, Uzuki started back through the marketplace, carrying two heavy bags and inventing ways to get back at the mathematician. She was so distracted that she didn't even notice the other pink-haired figure in her path. Uzuki walked smack into her and fell like a rock.

"Ouch!" As always, a most insightful remark in the face of sudden injury. "Of all the things..." Seven pushed herself off the ground, brushing dirt from the hem of her remarkably strange skirt. "Where are you off to in such a hurry? I'm not that hard to miss."
Then her mind kicked in and pointed out what an excellent opportunity this could prove to be. "You don't happen to be local, do you?" She smiled and offered the other woman a hand up.

"Local? Uh... yeah, I guess you could say that. I'm Uzuki." She gave the girl a slight smile. "Are you a new arrival or something?"

But perhaps he had been too distracted by his surroundings (and was that a sale sign in that stall?) that he accidentally bumped into another shopper.
"O-oh! I'm sorry, that was careless of me..." he apologized, giving a tiny bow- the only movement he could make, what with the bulk in his arms. The shopper waved it off, telling him to be careful next time and that maybe he should have someone accompany him because 'it wouldn't do for little girls to be out alone with such a load'.He giggled his agreement, making a promise to remember the next time he decides to shop. Satisfied, they both went along their ways. And it was then that he noticed that a couple of apples had rolled off to a small group ( ... )

She was momentarily distracted from the other two Rivelatan's they'd finally managed to pin down. Besides, she didn't think a little girl should be chasing down apples on her own, particularly in this crowd.
Mind, she hadn't even caught sight of what Fujisaka had been carrying moments before.

He quickly replaced the tiny frown (he didn't even notice he was wearing one) into a sweet smile, returning the other girl's expression. "Yes, thank you very much, miss," he said, taking the apple from her and placing it on the bag that was hanging on his arm.
"...Is there any way I can help you, too?" He felt bad not doing anything to repay the nice girl... and maybe he wanted to stay a bit longer in her company, too, if only to remind him a bit of the people back at her own home.

"I'm not sure," she said, being as honest as she could. "My friend might end up wanting to go off on his own, in which case I'll... look around." With the map from Shuuichi, at least she had a vague idea of what looking around would entail. "Do you need help getting everything home?" If so, depending on what Trust wanted to do, she might end up offering her services to the young girl as bag escort.
Given her current choices in activity, it wasn't all that unusual. Besides, she seemed nice. Maybe she'd even be able to tell Seven a bit more about Rive, for the good it would do her.

"You're quite welcome to take it," he offered. "It's no trouble at all."
He turned back to the - what he thought, at least - demon then, as the girl appeared rather lost in thought. It was a gentle smile on his face, betraying none of his thoughts - which were running along the lines of being highly amused that he was being underestimated again.
Oh, if you only knew, he mused, that I trained the boy who defeated what I think is your equivalent in our world.
Instead, he only laughed softly before answering. "I think I'll surprise you - though perhaps you'll think more highly of my friends? I'm Minamino Shuuichi. Pleased to meet you."
He gave a shallow bow - nearly a year here hadn't been enough to break him of his cultural habits. There were enough different cultures mixed in here that it seemed not to matter much, anyway.
