[[ ooc: Whoops! Fujisaki and Uzuki, you're both welcome to hop in down here, or not. Both work. =) ]]

Seven considered the similarity in arrival between Edensphere natives and what the Rivelatan was saying. Interesting that neither party knew how they arrived - even if boats and hatchings were a far cry removed from each other as a means of delivery.

Stepping closer to the redhead, Seven glanced down at the map. Not having much in the way of funds - unless the Rivelatan's wanted bark to chew on and apparently induce unknown horrors on digestion - she didn't know the worth of window shopping. Of course, that could give her some sort of memory trigger, if not an idea as to things she might one day like to own, if possible.

Like new clothing. Clothing would be really, really nice, especially something warmer for back in Edensphere. She didn't know if it was always so cold in Edensphere, but it would be something to be prepared for. "Thank you," she said, before the Rivelatan was able to make Trust the offer to spar. She repressed a groan to that; was this a guy thing? She couldn't exactly remember, but she had a sort of niggling idea it might well be. At least Trust was getting what he asked for, right?

Kurama laughed and held the map out to the girl.

"You're quite welcome to take it," he offered. "It's no trouble at all."

He turned back to the - what he thought, at least - demon then, as the girl appeared rather lost in thought. It was a gentle smile on his face, betraying none of his thoughts - which were running along the lines of being highly amused that he was being underestimated again.

Oh, if you only knew, he mused, that I trained the boy who defeated what I think is your equivalent in our world.

Instead, he only laughed softly before answering. "I think I'll surprise you - though perhaps you'll think more highly of my friends? I'm Minamino Shuuichi. Pleased to meet you."

He gave a shallow bow - nearly a year here hadn't been enough to break him of his cultural habits. There were enough different cultures mixed in here that it seemed not to matter much, anyway.

Seven accepted the map, flashing another, more honest smile at Shuuichi. He was fairly attractive, if she thought about it, and the thought made her vaguely uncomfortable. "Thank you, again." He hardly had needed to be so accommodating, particularly to the two of them.

Both he and Trust, however, seemed interested in sparring. She couldn't say it didn't interest her too - something about the idea tugged at her attention - but there was a good chance it would lead to her "getting in the way" of someone. Unless she were an audience-member; that she could probably handle.

"Nice to meet you, Minamino Shuuichi. I'm Seven." That saying so made it sound a bit like an announcement of her name probably explained the slight blush on her cheeks.

Usually, Kurama would have been the first to point out that being a demon-hunter certainly did not mean one could not also be a demon yourself, but as he was currently trying to stay undercover, giving up such information might not be prudent. Of course, that didn't mean a certain fox-demon couldn't make an appearance later, depending on how well this boy fought.

"Trust and Seven, then," he echoed with a smile, bowing again - more a polite inclination of the head than anything. The gentle and accommodating manner was simply a part of his character - at least, as Shuuichi. And especially in the company of strangers. He would not, perhaps, have been all too surprised at Seven's opinion on his looks - his high school years had been more than enough to break him of that. "And please, just 'Shuuichi' will do."

He pulled out his journal and penned a quick message - probably the quickest and least obtrusive way of communication in these parts.

"I'll have to see if I can get in touch with those friends of mine - is there anything you'd like to do in the meantime?"

"Shuuichi." Best to learn how to get along when people weren't being aggravating. Shuuichi had been very polite, which most certainly accounted for the lingering blush on her cheeks.

"I'd like to stop by a bookstore or a library, if you have either of those, please." In being interested to learn more about her new situation, she felt books were a good place to start. Perhaps not the most accurate, and certainly not guaranteed to be true, but knowledge had to be collected before being processed.

After that, meeting a few more new people would be interesting.

"I know of the main library in town," Kurama answered, keeping one eye on his journal for responses. "I can take you there if you - "

He trailed off as the responses began appearing, and he scrawled his hasty answers in.

"If you'd like," he finished, still writing, though he glanced up at Seven and gave a warm smile. "Though I don't know if you'd like to go there now and have us come fetch you when we've finished sparring, or if you'd like me to take you there afterward, so you can be part of the fun as well."

He held out the journal for Trust to see the small pictures that had appeared beside the responses. "These are some of my friends - the first is a man I met here, by the name of Cho Hakkai. The one down at the bottom is a friend from home - Urameshi Yusuke. Yusuke will probably be more interested than any of the others, as he was often in street brawls back home. There are others, but they haven't responded yet."

He kept the journal out, for Trust to look at as long as he liked. "Whenever the two of you are ready, I thought we might head down to the beach. There's plenty of room down on the shore."

A polite, handsome stranger was almost too much to take. Seven managed to keep herself from staring, by looking away to Trust.

"If you didn't mind an observer, then I'm not in a hurry to get to the library." Being born that morning asked Seven act with a certain degree of caution. "I don't think it'd be wise for me to, ah, spar."

Certainly, she was already noting she suffered some violent tendencies, but those could have been situational flukes. She was probably fairly patient, deep down inside. "If you guys mind, then I can head to the library now."

Kurama laughed softly, taking his journal back and tucking it away in the sash at his waist. Had Trust mentioned anything of not judging by gender, Kurama would have heartily agreed - he'd seen some powerful women in his time, the least of whom was not one Master Genkai. Even Kurama was wary of aggravating her.

Not to mention that Seven's body was decidedly not that of an ordinary young woman. Kurama's keen eye - you had to have one, being a thief most of your life - had quickly picked up on that. She was finely muscled under her pale skin.

"Well, I certainly don't mind an observer, and you're perfectly welcome to join in, if you feel any desire at all," he said with a graceful shrug.

"I suppose we'll be off, then."
