WHO: Edward Elric [ohshitnotmilk], Alphonse Elric armored_alchemy, Winry Rockbell [wrenchly]. Open to FMA cast.
WHAT: Looking for ingredients to the werecurse -- And, well, discovering more then that.
WHERE: The beach.
WHEN: Today, afternoon.

"Ow, Winry, be careful with that!"

The beach wasn't so bad. Warmer than the rest of the island, but Ed still found chills running up his spine whenever that warm wind rushed over them. Well, he was grateful the place wasn't freezing cold, which would have made it difficult to get what he needed from the ocean. If anything would even help him.

Maybe it wasn't a great idea to send the one with metal prosthetic limbs into the ocean, but at least Winry had some temporary automail(which came in handy, and probably would in the future, because he did tend to wreck them at a rather fast pace for an 18 year old) that used less metal -- which meant less sinking. Maybe it would have made more sense to just let Al go do it, but Ed wasn't so sure he liked that idea. Granted, he had his body longer than his brother did, and he didn't even know if he could swim. That, and Ed was too damn stubborn to prove that he wouldn't sink like a rock.

It was a rather strange sight, though: Ed was sitting on the shores of the beach, with one leg lifted slightly to keep the sand out of his automail joint when Winry disconnected it(and he kept complaining how uncomfortable it was when she did), and missing an arm on the other side of him. And there was snow in the background, but here Ed was in a pair of shorts and his black sleeveless shirt. Some clothes was better than none, really. His spear(made with alchemy) was on the ground beside him, because he didn't trust whatever the hell was in the water, and his gloves sat beside it.

And then she was connecting the temporary limbs, and they felt weird in comparison to automail. But he'd suffered three years with his fathers prosthetics; this wasn't so bad.
