Patrol had been as boring as it usually was, but it paid enough to keep her and Galatea and the other Claymores alive, so she didn't really mind. It kept her busy enough that she didn't have to worry about things like Riful or anyone similar running around and slaughtering innocents. That's what the Queen's crystal was there for anyways; keeping them in check

Xemnas teleported out of the way, reappearing behind Clare and sending out several twilight thorns, attempting to stab her. His own orange-yellow eyes glowed with rage (an emotion he had not felt for so long, and knew not what to do with).

Things were suspicious when crazy people in a magic book started declaring they needed hearts of all things, but Ed didn't have enough evidence for anything. And someone out there, given by their replies, knew exactly what was going on. He'd been planning on catching up to everything -- but with Nina, and the rest of the busy house (not to mention Elysia's disappearance), Ed found himself busier than usual.

But he definitely didn't expect to come face to face with something of a horror movie in the middle of a market. He didn't think going to pick up something for Nina would entail watching that horrid man ripping out peoples hearts of all things

His powers were slowly - sloooowly - starting to come back to him. That was good when he wasn't even close to the Marketplace as his Spider Sense went off, blaring loudly and obnoxiously, and about two seconds before the sound of screams hit his ears.

Spidey leapt from rooftop to rooftop until he saw what was going on. That guy from the journals, the one who talked way too much, had snapped and was killing civillians.

Under the mask, his eyes hardened. This Xemnas was even killing children, then ripping the hearts from their chests. Sick freak.

Almost on autopilot, he jumped down to the Nobody's level, making his presence well-known. Two other people were already here, and hopefully they'd be more successful than the team that'd gone after Shira so long ago. He didn't say anything, no witty comment could make this situation any better.

Adam had yet to regain any powers, however, he had been hearing an echo of a voice. He had an idea of what it was but he dared not get his hopes up. But when he saw that entry from the man who wanted more hearts.

Hearts of all things!

He wasn't going to sit idly by this time. Adam ran outside and to the marketplace. He saw a girl's entry say the man was in the marketplace and she was right, he could hear the screams.

Adam didn't utter a word, just a small growl when he saw the man and ran at him from behind. He jumped into the air, spinning to his side, with his foot aiming for the man's shoulders.
