WHEN: Night of Day 249 (Monday 12/1) and Day 250 (12/2) through the night of Day 256 (Monday 12/8)
[[OOC Note: Blind characters see this in their dreams on Monday night.]]
The haze in the sky changed shape that evening, slowly morphing into something a little clearer than a whirl of color.
Surrounded by greens and browns, the shape had a more solid rod-like center and appeared bottom-heavy, a few levels near the stop standing out from the spine-like structure. True green was the predominant color now, but the size of the thing also changed - it grew to roughly the size of the moon and was now just as bright.
It was easier to tell that something distinctly weird was going on now, meaning there were more people gathered by their windows, in the streets, and everywhere else to stare up at the sky and watch the transformation spectacle.
The colors were so easy to distinguish that it came as a great shock when they all greyed out, the sky becoming darker without the new star to shine there. And then it flickered back into focus as before. But then grey again, then colored again. The flickering effect as the shape reverted to the previous hazy circle, greyed out, and back to the clearer shape, then greyed out again, only to have the process repeat - that was what initiated the sense of vertigo this time.
Sights, sounds, all passed before your eyes. It was obvious when the vision ended this time, because there was the sensation of falling backwards until you impacted a wall. But it was only your own body.
Awakening with a gasp of air and two blinks, you found yourself back where you were standing in Rivelata not a few moments ago. Another decision had to be made: dream, vision, no matter - would this thing keep happening to all who stared at it long enough?
[[Note: Yes of course characters not receiving their visions during Week 2 can still participate in this log, they must simply react differently to the more expanded text - that is, when they look at the haze, they do not look too long/too hard and the light is not very intense.]]
