Paint smudges in the rain (open like a book!)

WHO: Jilly and anyone she might meet.
WHAT: Meeting new people and seeing new things
WHERE: Anywhere and everywhere
WHEN: Just after Jilly's arrival (no idea the day number)

Jilly Copperfield was not one to sit around and mope about her misfortune.  She wasn't happy about it, but that was something different.   She knew about the magic of art.  She knew about fairies and all of the other faerie folk she glimpsed out of the corner of her eye.  She even knew about alternate realities and worlds that only existed in dreams.  But this....

This was a little out there even for her.

But on the other hand, there were others in the same predicament as her and thanks to the magic journal, it was clear she wasn't alone.  They seemed kind for the most part, judging by their reactions to her sudden appearence in the journal.  Always the curious kid and ever the Humanist, Jilly had decided that she would be much better off trying to meet all these interesting people rather than crying over being lost.

This was how she found herself standing smack dab in the middle of what the map told her was the Market District.  Catchy name.  Although the scenery was far from Newford's alternatively slum-dirty and tourist-clean streets, the weather was blessedly the same familiar drizely mess.
