His room and the kitchen - those were probably the two places in the house Iggy was most familiar with, since he spent most of his time divided between the two. Which was not, of course, to say that he couldn't get around the rest of the house just as well as anyone sighted - it had been quite long enough for him to get the layout down.

In fact, his senses were sharpening slowly, just a little at a time, the pictures soft and fuzzy in his head but there in a way they hadn't been for quite some time.

Still, he stood in the kitchen like he owned the place (and he did, sort of - no one else cooked worth anything) and thought. A guest, hmm? Someone else Max obviously trusted - weird concept - and Iggy didn't know. Seemed like he'd have to get used to this. Still, Kaoru turned out all right - after an admittedly shaky start, so...

He tapped the wooden spoon he was holding absently against his lips. Something warm, he'd promised Max, but what, precisely?

Tap, tap, tap.

Something sweet, maybe? With little hesitation, he moved to the ( ... )

How he was gonna get up on her roof in this weather without perfect Alchemy skills was beyond Edward's ideas. He just hoped she would have a ladder. He couldn't create blocks to carry him up there just yet, as much as he'd have liked to. As far as he could reach was just about Mustangs shoulders. As he'd found out... a couple times now.

He was practically soaked already by the time he reached her house; he'd seen Max on the roof from all the way up the street. He spotted the ladder pretty easily and made his way around the back of the house, adjusting his wet alchemy-designed gloves before he began to climb up the metal ladder. Ed wasn't much of a practical handy man. He was more good at blowing shit up -- and rather enjoyed it. But this gave him an excuse to leave his fucking journal, and another excuse to get out of his house.

And he needed that.

He reached the top and climbed up, standing to his full height as he made his way over to Max carefully. Who knew where her roof would cave in; she needed it fixed, after all.

"Hey,

Max managed to get onto her knees, neither trusting her wings to save her if she slid off, or the roof to not buckle the instant she found a weaker spot. She waved. Despite having a loose shirt, since she was wet, it clung to her. And it was annoying. At least she was slightly cool from it. "Hey, Ed." Her wings were tucked against her back into their indents, away from where they would create problems for her if the wind picked up.

"So... I don't know. He picked this house, I think, because it was away from everything." She shrugged. "Unfortunately, that means it's in awful condition. I've only made the inside livable. Wasn't expecting a rainy season this hard, actually." She gave him a sheepish look. "I think it's just a basic attic shape? I haven't exactly checked."

She managed to scratch her back between the wing joints before looking back at him, "I was thinking you could fix the roof and Iggy make something hot." A grin. "Humans get sick too much."

Ed made his way over to where Max was kneeling. The roof felt pretty sturdy underneath his feet; but he was probably considerably lighter than Max, even with his Prosthetics, which were -- and he kind of thanked Hohenheim for this -- about the same weight as any proper limb. He looked around the roof a little, scratching the back of his head as he sniffed a little.

"Yeah, I don't think anyone really expected this sort of shitty weather," He said, sighing a little as he pulled his wet pony tail off his neck. He reached a foot out away from them carefully, smacking it down on the wet surface. Nothing; they didn't cave in or fall. He took that as a good sign; but Ed was no handyman, really. But if he could fix the roof, he was well on his way to getting his alchemy back.

When she mentioned Humans getting sick too much, he suddenly realized, Oh, right, shes a chimera. She was probably what people would call a perfect chimera. Given, Tucker had said Nina and Alexander were and look how that had turned out -- horrible. Max was just so ( ... )

Naturally, how could Ed know of Max's internal differences? Either way, the roof didn't buckle under his weight. Crawling over to it, rather awkward for her, crawling had never been much of worry when you could fly, Max grabbed the bag with a hammer and shingles. "Over here." She grabbed it and held it out to him, wings opening a little to balance her, though as soon as she settled back down, she closed them again.

Ed could worry about his own health. If all else failed, he had Alphonse and the rest of the household to be his caretaker. She would worry about her partial-flock.

With all the odd people around, Max had almost forgotten she had been so abnormal at home. Months around this place had made her feel a little less out of place, but no less homesick.
