At Selene's bequest they set out to drink. The tavern wasn't one of the many he tended to frequent, in fact he couldn't even recall if this place had a name above it's door, but a drunk had stumbled out and was followed by the sickly sweet tang of beer, and it had seemed as inviting as any.
It had been a while since he'd met with Selene in person, apparently they'd both been tied up in situations of a personal matter. This drink was long over-due.
It would also be Fay's first alcoholic beverage since he'd become human, and personally he couldn't wait to feel the full effects of the amber nectar instead of the diluted and slow progressing tingling sensations he'd felt as a vampire. It was like an experiment, of sorts.
He got the first round in.
