The map provided in Bennett-san's guide was very thoughtful, and useful, however, it didn't show individual streets. Someone more familiar with these criss-crossing, honeycombed alleyways would be able to use it more effectively than Shin.
Shin, unfortunately, wasn't particularly gifted with navigation, and even if he were, Kaitani-kun hadn't given him directions yet, so he didn't know where exactly he was going.
This left him in a rather uncomfortable situation- he was wandering from one sitting spot to the next, checking his journal constantly and generally feeling like a fish out of water.
All of these people were strangers, a few of them yelled at him to move out of sitting spots (one even in a language he didn't recognize), and he had no place to be.
This was somewhat distressing.
None of his anxiety played on his face, however.
Instead of continuing his useless wandering, he found a street tree that had a good, sturdy limb, set down his journal, and started doing chin-ups. He hadn't gotten to his morning workout, after all.
