Kaiman, however, was used to this sort of work. He frequently dragged foul smelling corpses around. When it came to dealing with those bastard magicians, the bodies were usually rotted and disfigured.

Most unpleasant.

But, the large man had his gas mask, which served a dual function; hiding his scaly face as well as blocking out the smells and pathogens rising from the dead.

He stuffed his hands in his pockets, humming cheerfully as he made his way through the jungle, voice muffled by the leather mask on his face.

The smell of the river hit him before the sight did. Even through his gas mask, the odor of decay was almost unbearable. He gagged as he approached the pair. Unlike Kanda and Selene, Kaiman was a very chatty person, especially when he was working.

"Phew! What a smell. Oh, sorry I'm late, ahaha... I'm not so good with maps. Oh!" He dug around in a small leather pouch he'd brought with him and took out two pairs of leather gloves, "I come bearing gifts! I would have gotten coats, too, but I was kind of in hurry...."

The lizard man grinned under his mask and clasped his hands together, "All right! Let's get going!" With that, Kaiman jumped from the bridge, landing in the water near the corpses with a splash. He had managed to get some extra clothes so that the ones he'd came in wouldn't smell like cadaverine for the rest of eternity.
