Axel sat behind the counter of the empty ramen bar, fiddling with a toothpick. It sure would have been nice of Kariya to tell her BEFORE she came all the way to work and sat there for two hours that the shop was closed today. Or at least Antubis could have said something, instead of getting her hopes up about raises.
Oh well, at least she'd earned one silver lady (10 knights, 100 pence, she reminded herself, memorizing the monetary system) today. Now that she knew the shop was closed, there was nothing to do but fiddle around with the journals and play with toothpicks. Axel COULD have bothered Sho, but... well, she didn't feel like it.
Not to mention Roxas would be here soon. He'd said he was on his way, and Axel was very much looking forward to it.
