WHO: Sebastian Michaelis, Yuna, Mitsuru Kirijo, Soubi, and anyone else who applied for a job under an underage aristocrat.
WHAT: Sebastian interviews prospective employees. Hopefully, halfway competent ones.
WHERE: Phantomhive Mansion
WHEN: Day 123, all day.
Dawn arose later in the morning than usual; perhaps a sign of waning summer. Sebastian left a saucer of milk out for the cats, then walked into the kitchen to prepare Master Ciel’s morning tea and breakfast. He would be interviewing prospective employees throughout the day, and worked briskly to keep his schedule.
There were an acceptable number of applicants; some native, some not. Personally, he looked forward to meeting those from other worlds, though he would have to take extra caution when choosing from them. As...charming as the concept of clumsy servingmaids and cooks were, Sebastian had no intention of replicating the epic incompetence he dealt with at home. Besides the technical requirements of the jobs, he’d require information on their personalities and backgrounds-hence, the interview. Politics held no place in the servants’ quarters, and were they to openly either oppose or support the rebels even Sebastian could not guarantee anyone’s safety but Master Ciel’s. Nor did he have any desire to. Under Sebastian Michaelis, it was either sink or swim.
Checking the grandfather clock in the hallway, he noted the time before busying himself. It would not do to idle.
