Claire took another bite out of her bread, turning the corner to head back to the apartment.
It didn't take long to reach the place, Claire turning the knob of the red door to let herself in.
"Peter?" she called out, stepping inside and closing the door behind her again. "Peter, are you in here? I just grabbed lunch, I thought... I, um... well, I thought you might accompany me out shopping?"
Her fingers were crossed behind her back as she hoped for the best reaction from him-- no questions.
