WHO: Susumu and Asch the Bloody
WHAT: On their way home from a meeting with Luke and Co.
WHERE: The streets of Rivelata
WHEN: The dead of night
Susumu was more than happy to be out of the Inn. It was probably one of the few places that was still open so late at night, not to mention busy. When they had walked downstairs, the lobby was quite full. People were trying to get rooms, many were still drinking and laughing. It was the last place he wanted to be. Susumu had never liked crowds, and avoided them when possible. Even disguised as Osei, they made him uneasy, and he only stayed as long as was necesary. Maybe he had gotten used to his secluded life at the Shinsengumi headquarters, or maybe he had just never liked people much to begin with.
Suffice to say, he was happy when Asch had seemed as eager to leave as he did. The two could go back to Asch's living accomodations, and he supposed, get some sleep. Susumu wasn't quite sure when he had taken up residence with the young man, it had just happened on its own. Certainly better than having to hunt out his own place, at least at the current time of night. How awkward to steal through a window, and realize someone was already there.
During the walk to the front door, and just outside the Inn, he had maintained hold of Asch's arm. Men were less likely to bother or approach him when he was touching a male. Asch also wasn't the type any drunken man would want to piss off either. 'Friendly' wasn't quite written across his face.
The air outside was cool, and it felt nice against Susumu's face. Inside the Inn had been very warm, heat generated by bodies and candles.
"..Who were they?"
