Nagi meets with post-Suicide Kuja Nagi couldn't decide what upset him more: that he hadn't killed the bastard mundane or that he wasn't being pursued. It was almost like insult to injury... he, Prodigy, the prized telekinetic of Schwarz, had failed to kill a target and what's more, not done anything to merit a chase.
He casually leapt from rooftop to rooftop, his powers coming to him easily now to the point that he could have flown if he'd desired to - he had done so momentarily when he'd fled...
Yes, he'd fled. From a danger that wasn't there. True there had been a sense of impending doom that had kept him from killing Zach, but what real power did that woman have anyway? As Nagi thought about it now, all she had done was threaten him with words - no weapon, no movement, just words - she was powerless, in Nagi's mind, because even if she'd had the power to stop him, she obviously had some sort of moral conscience that had kept her from attacking him then and there.
Nagi had no such conscience.
With barely a sound, Nagi landed on the rooftop of the old Schwarz Headquarters... which Schwarz had not occupied since the day Schu and Faru had been turned in by the mundane doctor. However, if anyone was still pursuing him from afar, they'd expect him to return here anyway.
So, Nagi dropped down the front of the building and was about to head inside when he noticed
two feathers and two handkerchiefs with lipstick kisses pressed onto them almost... waiting for him to discover them on the front porch. He took them inside and casually looked them over for about an hour before deciding it was best to return to his mentor's side.
Exiting out the back, Nagi walked purposefully through numerous alleyways towards House's residence. Had there been a more secretive way to enter the building, Nagi would have done so, but alas all there was to use was a kitchen entrance through the back of the house.
It was the wee hours of the morning before Nagi finally closed the door behind him.
