"There you are. About time."

As if he'd materialised out of thin air to appear beside Neku, there was Joshua. His arms were folded with an arguably genuine sulky expression, and he looked Neku up and down critically. After a moment, he seemed satisfied, because his gaze flicked back up to meet Neku's, steady and unfathomable as ever.

"You're really an inefficient escort, you know. Did you get lost along the way?" And there was the first of many giggles Neku would hear from Joshua.

Neku didn't jump, but only whirled around on the spot to look at him with a scrutinizing gaze. The sulky expression seemed so out of character- though just made Joshua seem more pompus than anything else, maybe he was just a bit confused and lost- and for a moment, Neku's frown and anger seemed to flicker into disappearing. Neku was simple like that, even if he wasn't the most trusting person around.

However, as soon as Joshua spoke again, the annoyance returned full force. Concidering I'm not even willingly being your so called 'Escort', you should be grateful I even came at all, he thought sourly, before he replied, "No, I didn't. Ten minutes, like I said."

Joshua heaved an indulgent sigh, brushing hair out of his face with a hand. He hadn't lied when he said he was disorientated; whether it has been his own doing that had landed him here or not, it had still been taxing. In a word, he was exhausted. And Neku was the perfect target to take it out on.

"A good escort would come in five. With a drink, too," he said stuffily, mostly for argument's sake. "Now, can we move? This place is as crazy as the scramble."

The frown touched his eyes. What am I, your servant? "You can get a drink when we get back to mine and Shiki's place," he said bluntly. He still wasn't all that keen on having Joshua live with theem- so in his mind, Joshua'd be a guest until further notice.

As for the second part, he didn't answer, instead looking from left to right and nodding once, turning back the way he came at a slightly quicker speed than was really necessary- looking back over his shoulder every now and then until they cleared the crowd, a few hundred metres away, and then he stopped.
