"Oh my..." Kuja surveyed the garden below. "Oh he's outdone himself this time."

The two and a half days Sebastian had spent on the glorious garden, Kuja had spent dyeing fabrics and handpainting them for the tailors. He had also painstakingly constructed a paper parasol and painted it with purple flowers and birds. It was that, that he grabbed as he rushed downstairs and outside.

For all his flair, for all his cynical witticisms, years spent as a scientific experiment...Kuja was still very much a child inside. He gripped a handful of his kimono carefully, lifting it so it wouldn't get caught around his feet as he ran.

His wooden geta tapped against the bridge before he halted and slowly turned full circle to inspect the garden.
"Oh dear heavens..." Kuja sighed, shaking his head. The gardens were awash with colors he had hardly seen before, plants he had never known to exist.

The Genome was laughing in elation, unable to keep the smile from his lips. Making his way inside, Kuja sought his butler. Finding him in the kitchen, Kuja called his name. Though he only jerked his hand back once, he managed to gently smooth a lock of Sebastian's dark hair behind an ear.

"The garden looks lovely."

Winking at him playfully before pivoting, Kuja returned outside to wait for their guest.
