Was she honest-to-God singing?? Just took a random sentence and said it melodiously?
He should walk away. Walk away right now. Crazy people were not worth talking to. They were separate from basic society for a reason. Apparently, Rivelata had not caught up to that concept quite yet, and this girl in front of him was definite proof of that if he had doubted it. Who did she think she was, prancing about singing and dancing all merrily like the world was perfect? And then practically singing when she spoke? Who did that?
Then again, Kanda did ask, after all. Damn it.
And so, he remained rooted to the spot, and rolled his eyes. He had nothing else better to do this afternoon, and walking away from probably the only person who was willing to help him out right now was not going to solve his problems. At least, insane or not, she could give him some idea on how to deal with his situation.
At least, she had better hope she could.
Groaning inwardly and loathing himself, Kanda stood up straight, tried to clear his mind and took a deep breath. It wasn't hard, considering he meditated faithfully at every dawn.
Oh, right.
He was supposed to be thinking about his feelings, wasn't he?
Well, that just made things a little more difficult.
He tried again. Oh, he felt feelings all right. And they were accompanied by anger, frustration, confusion... not exactly relaxing emotions.
"I... I don't think this is going to work," he muttered.
