...I heard about what happened in the Market a few days back. My heart's with the boy's family and friends. It's never pretty when these things get out of hand. Certainly not where us Offworlders are concerned.
One hopes this doesn't escalate. I haven't been here long and I know Rive's got plenty of cause to loathe us. But I can tell... no, see, that the good our kind's done for this place generally outweighs the bad.
Maybe they'll remember that before rounding up the pitchforks...
((OOC: Up until last night, Paul was conducting his own queries into the incident clad in this makeshift costume. Money, careful questioning, and a little luck finally led him to the very civilian who'd witnessed Jan's fatal biting of the victim. After hearing the civvie out, Paul's now convinced that Roy's bullet didn't kill the lad. This has made him the archer's ally, if secretly.
Word of a masked man in green who showed keen interest in the event is popping up in certain corners of the Slums. But since Paul didn't leave a name for his masked persona, scuttlebutt simply refers to him as 'Mr. Green' or 'The Green Guy'.))
