Twenty-Second Victim

Oh my, have I been dreadfully busy recently! SO many deaths to log and process and then now this. Honestly, I have enough work to do without you lot going about ruining everything, unable to keep your artist shenanigans to yourself. This is, what, the fourth time we've had to close of the Market Square to investigate and clean up?

You're all running ( Read more... )

They haven't talked since she's been back. XP rifulofthewest April 21 2009, 13:59:38 UTC
All the same, you say? That's an interesting way of looking at it.

It's true, really. You learn these things after a couple of decades pass and you feel like everything is just repeating itself under new names and faces.

Awfully boring and it takes something pretty amazing to garner my admiration.

I'd say that's true for me, but I can't say I haven't been surprised by a couple of things as of late.

Well, I suppose those responsible for the murders will have to work harder, hm, Mister...?

Grell. Grell Sutcliff, my dear Miss Riful. We used to be great friends, little darling but unfortunately you won't remember that.

'The Reaper'?

I hardly think that most who kill do so in order to impress those who preside over death.

No, the reasons are far simpler than that but honestly it gets so repetitive after a while you don't even bat an eyelid anymore.

Then perhaps you are unfit for your role. The position of Shinigami is not one to be taken lightly.

Oh dear, now you sound like William prattling off like that. I am a fine Reaper, thank you very much little dear and I love my work.

I just don't appreciate people messing things up so hither-tither and I think you would agree with me there. Order to follow, things in their proper place, etc.

There's artful work and then there's just plain tacky.

If by 'fine' you mean 'tacky and gaudy' then yes. It was fine.

It's alright, I gather they haven't an artistic bone in their body at all so we needn't worry. Entrails all strewn hither-tither? Oh please.

Now. You have very little time to get dressed before I sweep you off to the Tea Room, my pretty Lady.

I've seen it too many times, Grell. [a recorded sigh] It's disrespectful, if you ask me.

Be ready in a heartbeat, dear. ♥

You almost sound as if you know who did it...

Care to share your theories?

Now what would be the fun in that?

You'd potentially get to see some more bloodshed And from what I've heard the things some of these people are planning to do are quite horrific, not amateur work like this killer showed.

Also, do you know if the victim had an ability?

Oh of course there are others itching for bloodshed. It's a part of life, really. You can't have saints without sinners.

I think the killer ate the poor dear. It doesn't look like they just hauled out all those organs hither-tither.
