Much Needed Vacation!!!
I cannot wait!!! Only 14 days till Burning Man!!! Yes, I am actually going to Burning Man. At first it started as a really cool, wish I could do that with the gals from Flying Monkey, kind of thing. Then lastnight I bought my tickets. I now have a flight which means I'm really going. I have no clue what I'll find there or what will find me. Whatever it is, it will be amazing!!!! I cannot stop thinking about it. I'm making lists for it everyday in my head.
Other than being obsessed with the Man, I have just returned from teaching a workshop in Indianapolis. Well, Lafayette specifically. I taught two 2day workshops in wound molten glass. Everyone was really great and creative. They actually made some nice work as it was an advanced workshop. It was a nice trip. Although I hate flying on planes and I had a switchover on each trip there and back. Atlanta airport is one of the most amazing places to watch people come in from International flights. I passed the time counting dreadlock rastas and japanese techno girlies with their wide cuffed jeans and awesome backpacks. You would be amazed at what non essentials can hang from a small pink cyber punk pack.
Besides all of that, I'm actually glad to be back in the "Patch" Nothing much to do here this week, but it's all good. I need to sleep a little more anyway.
