its the long weekend! lets have a barbie!
it's a long weekend! and that means something for the first time in four years. I'm pretty excited about it!!!
abby and I are going to the zoo today. steve is coming too, maybe. and who KNOWS what we'll do tomorrow -- but it WONT BE GO TO WORK AT THE ASS CRACK OF DAWN. YAY!
tuesday I audition for a women's choir -- they're a lesbian choir actually...sort of the women's counterpart to the men's gay chorus of boston... although they DO apparently have several bi and straight members (who they LOVE!), I hope they LOVE me. I have never actually auditioned for anything in my life. okay, that's not true, I had to sing for the director of our musical in sixth grade. and also, sang a verse of seasons of love for noah and the ECWC last year, and that went okay (but it was seasons of love, of course that went okay, I could sing that song in my sleep). so I'm trying to stay positive. it's exciting! if it doesnt work out, I'm going to have to figure something ELSE out - some other choir, because I just dont think that I could NOT find a choir. THAT would just be...strange. and I guess sort of sad. PLUS it's a way to meet people. guarenteed to find like minded people in a gay/bi women's chorus!
