One of the dumbest possible excuses to not support gay marriage: "the purpose of marriage is to promote procreation between men and women."
YOU HEAR THAT SENIOR CITIZENS?! You can't get married if the woman is past menopause! If you're proven sterile, you can't get married either! Paraplegic or quadriplegic? No marriage for you! Childless by choice? Yeah, you can't get married unless you promise to procreate.
Seriously? Is this the best they can come up with? And if it's not the best they can come up with, why was it part of the opening statement defending Prop 8 in California?
