Ooh, I just watched The Big Bang Theory at the same time it was airing in the States. Oh, internet. You are wonderful. The quality was iffy, of course, but it was nice not to have to wait for someone to upload it. Hopefully I'l be able to watch more shows like this. It's a bit of a pain to have to ignore a large part of my friends list while I try to find a download link. Oh, living in a foreign country can be rough sometimes. :-P
Today's episode of TBBT was... interesting. It's weird to watch an episode where Howard is the most likable and normal out of all the main characters. He and his girlfriend Bernadette are awesome. I really hope they keep her on the show for a long time. Also, can they please stop making Leonard into a giant douchebag? I used to like him, but now... yeah, now he's my least favorite out of anyone on the show.
At the end of the episode, wasn't it a bit bizarre that Sheldon just offered to let that girl stay in his room after seasons of forbidding anyone but family from going inside? Is it character growth, or just written that way for a laugh? It's so hard to tell with sitcoms.
Also watched the first episode of Being Human Series 2. Oh, George. I hope you won't be this dickish the entire series. Also, the scene with the random werewolf in the chamber? Squicked me out, big time. It hit almost all of my squeamish buttons.
Yesterday I bought clothes! Including corduroy slacks! Granted, the slacks and the hoody I bought are men's clothes, but I like the look of men's fashion in Japan much much more than the women's fashion. The women's stuff here is almost completely too girly for me. Too girly and too Eighties. Not that it matters much when it comes to most clothes, I'm just too big for them. Women's clothing ends a few sizes too soon for me. I can sometimes find tops too wear, though they tend to be really tight in the shoulders and chest, and occasionally much too short in the arms. My hips, though? Yeah, I'm not getting them into Japanese jeans. I know there must be a place to buy women's clothing that will fit, because I've seen Japanese women bigger than me, but I'm not sure where, and frankly I'm quite content just to shop in the men's department.
Now, if only I can find a place to buy dress shoes and bras that will fit...
