So, I signed up for chemistry M01B for this summer, but realized that it overlapped with the summer school I would be taking at Davis. So I e-mailed the professor if I could finish up the course a week early. I thought it would be an easy shoe in considering it's only chemistry (not that it's not A LOT of work, but do-able). To my dismay he responded that doing such a thing was "impossible" and he hoped my schedule would work out for me. Considering the blunt and direct style of his language, I don't think begging is going to work. So, I dropped Chemistry...BUT I am STILL going to take summer school at Moorpark College, instead I am taking Ballet I, Modern Dance I and I am still going to take Cardio Kickboxing with the_Shiv. My dance classes are ABOUT the same time the_Shiv is taking his Chem class, so we'll still be able to carpool without too much issue (he'll have to wake up a bit early one of the days, but same goes for me on his lab days). I guess it's kinda of nice the way it worked out considering I was extremely worried about burning myself out this summer, the summer before my JUNIOR YEAR (which all engineers know is the doom doom doom doom year). Also, considering I'd have one dance class and one cardio class per day, I have the potential to get in mega shape! So I suppose this summer I'm doing something fun for ME, which I haven't done in a while. So, I guess I'm coming down this summer to chill, relax, and have FUN with my peeps and GET IN SHAPE (which is something I always wanted to do!) My Dad will probably be sad that I won't be coming up this summer (considering I could take all the same classes at SC) but the_Shiv and I agreed that living together over the summer is the perfect trial before we do the real thing, just to make sure we're compatable roomies too!!
