so, i was all excited about making friends. i did it on my own, without becca or nathan or jessie or maggi there to make me seem funnier than i am or to laugh at my bad jokes. i did it alone, and people enjoyed my company. i was so pround, because i did it alone, which must mean that i'm a genuinely funny person who other people will enjoy. so dumb

let me lay it out for you: a very wise person once told me " every person who becomes part of your life will ruin it in some way "

If you decifer what the wise man was saying, you come out with the fact that people are gonna rub off on you. Now, Kass, I hate to tell you this, but you are a very loveable and enjoyable person to be around- no matter who you 'act' like. If you speak geek like Nathan, it's because you've learned things from him- but you add your kass-like twist to it. You don't say things the EXACT same way as Nathan does. If you act silly and take jokes too far like Becca, it's because the two of you have comedic timing, not because you are taking on HER PERSONALITY. Trust me, Brandon has tried and tried again to tell jokes that his friends have told, and he doesn't pull it off. Doesn't mean he's a boring, bad person, just means he doesn't have that OOMF that some people do. Make sense?

They might love your friends, but trust me, they love you for you- Not for those people you learn things from.

i suppose thats true enough. i act like becca and nathan because i spend most of my time with them. i cant really help it. i just dont want to discover one day that when i'm not acting like my friends that i'm a very boring person. that would be awful
