pros: its near my house (15 minute bike ride as apposed to the hour commute, plus bus tickets), the manager/owner seems GREAT, and its the same pay I had before! 12 dollars a hour....

great news! I got the job at the Home Hardware store! yippie! 24 hours a week, 12 dollars an hour. The only down side is that it will take an hour to get to the job on the bus, which is kinda a bummer, but I like to read on the bus. maybe I will finally get through all my library books!

sometimes I just fucken love the 21st century. Its so easy and so fast to contact anyone about anything. I have gotten information in the last 10 minutes that 10 years ago would have taken me days or weeks to answer. Now i just open an e-mail, and send it out. networking might save the world yet.

How to dance those fine lines between "I am competent" verses "I am full of myself"? I'm getting to the point in my career where I have a little calling card of who I am, who I have worked with, and what I am about. How to delicately put this forward?
