a question mark

Okay, so feel free to call me a liar and a hypocrite. My mother was at Costco today, and she called to ask me if I wanted her to pick up a copy of the new Harry Potter, to which I said, "sure, why not". Ackkk. *dodges stones from other cynics who now see me as a traitor* To be fair, however, I'm not going to even open it until I finish Nickel and Dimed. Apparently depressing exposes are my thing now.

Mom and I had another driving lesson today which was marred by the fact that another car decided to practice in the same parking lot of the community college. Yeah, it's a public place, but we were there first, dammit. I just wanted to focus on being able to park and use my turn signals, but instead I directed most of my energy to trying not to find myself in a gruesome head-on collision with the other vehicle. My mother, on the other hand, I get the feeling she felt rather competitive with said car, as she noted that we were moving at a faster speed, and then she told me to drive into the street as if to say, My daughter can navigate the streets while you guys are confined to the parking lot! Nyeh nyeh nyeh!

Maturity is not a big theme in this family.

observations, l is for loser
