hello there! random thoughts for you:
- project greenlight: ended tonight. it's sad to know that i won't get to check in with my good friend john gulager every thursday night anymore. very sad. sadder than i'd like to discuss.
- digital cable = wonderful: three words: flinstones on demand. (oh yes.) five more words: legends of the hidden temple. (i know, life can't get better, right?)
- sadly: the first two points on this list revolved around television. things are looking up for this summer.
- grandma: grandma came over today and we had a nice little chat. it was fun. it's nice to be able to just sit and talk to your grandma.
- henry's baseball game: was tonight... and tonight most of the degrees decided they had the night off, and therefore it was like 50 degrees or something -- in other words, i was freezing and the bleachers are made of aluminum - which i guess is fantastic in the summer but woah.. my legs actually numbed themselves so that they would no longer have to deal with the coldness that those metal bleachers decided they should absorb. but on a possitive note, that little henry guy had some good hits! and his team won..10-2 or some score equally as embarrassing for the other team.
- my bedroom: okay, so when i switched bedrooms with patrick over break, i was essentially putting one bedroom full of stuff into a room about 2/3 the size of that room..therefore my room was already operating on a 1/3 surplus. well, then i came home with a whole dorm room's worth of stuff... and now, okay let's see here.. if my room is pie - well, it's more like two or three pies trying to fit in to one pie dish. it's too much stuff!
- but i'm happy to say: i reverted back to my "shove things under the bed" mentality of years past and tucked some stuff away under there... fixed up the room quite a bit.. and i have to admit, it's starting to look fairly nice. one problem still remains, however, thus being that i do not have a dresser, or a closet big enough to even think about putting things in. so, i think the solution my mom and i came up with was that i am going to buy a bookshelf and put clothes on it (weird, i know, but this room is quite small).
- distance = ridiculous: no further thoughts on that, for fear of typing forever.
- birthday cake: my mom made me a birthday cake, and patrick said that he really wanted to write on it. she told him he had to write "happy birthday and welcome home!" and he promised he would. but the cake said "merry christ. ...mas." i like patrick, he's funny.
- soundtrack of life: (really?) my parents told me they were getting me an ipod shuffle, and being the incredibly awesome/nice tricksters that they are, they instead got me an ipod mini. i was very surprised and all of this has made me quite happy. ...also, it's pink.
- latham: dear latham, you never change. it's good, because i guess i wouldn't want you to change too much. but at the same time... eh. love always, me.
- KFC: i guess the KFC in latham burned down on sunday. the only reason i find this sad is because it means that we had an existing KFC.
- bed: i think i'll go there soon. early, i know, but this is latham.
- and by bed: i think i really meant flintstones on demand.
so, goodnight!
