Domesticity is trying to kill me.
Today was full of ow.
I've been "nesting" lately, and trying to get things organized in my house. I mean it's been two years, and it's about freakin' time. So I did tons of house work today! Tons. I'm talking multi-tasking with the house work. So as I was lunching, I heard something fall in the laundry room. I figured it was just something from on top of the washer (sometimes the spin cycle gets violent), and shrugged it off.
Well, when I went to go get the clothes out of the dryer (prolly about an hour later, I was multi-tasking, remember?), I stepped in A PUDDLE OF LIQUID LAUNDRY DETERGENT. WTF?!! Apparently, the big boom I heard was my brand new gigundo sized All Free and Clear liquid laundry detergent from Sam's falling off the washer. Which usually would be no big deal, only it apparently fell right on the cap that you loosen to let it flow more freely? And yeah...it was everywhere. Under the washer, under the dryer, ALL OVER MY SHOES!! Including my bright green Rocket Dogs, my shell top Adidas (freakin' old school), AND the shoes I got married in. =P I cleaned them all up, so they should be okay.
I called my friend Chris to see if he'd help me move the washer and dryer. In the process, I slipped and fell. It hurt. A lots. It's lucky the door was there to stop my leg that went forward...but my hip hurts. Fail.
Chris called back and saved the day. My hip and butt cheek still hurt, though. =( I'm glad I have a crap ton of Tylenol 3 leftover from when I had huge boobs and had back pain all the time.
Tomorrow's gonna suck. Since Chris saved the day, I have to help him weed eat tomorrow. But hey, he's gonna mow my back yard for me. Hooray! It's like I have two husbands. =)
