Long time no see.
I suppose this thing is around for a reason. I guess I'll update it!
It's been a long time since I've written! I'm a whole year older. I have a job now (because housewife-ing was getting booooring). I have gotten rid of some friends, and added new and improved (now with more awesome action!!) friends. I am almost a year smoke free!! I had a breast reduction, and am now back-pain free! Life, as they say, is good.
I'm happy to be where I am. I love my job...I work at a Christian Book Store and the Coffee Shop inside it. I'm being considered for a promotion to gift buyer for the store, and may be doing that soon. Shopping! My fave! My friends are kickin' tail and taking names. They've been really supportive this past week during my recovery from surgery. We're all growing up, and it's a little scary, but mostly awesome. It's an adventure, and it's one we're all choosing to take together. Can't ask for more than that!
Levi and I are doing really well. Other than the fact that we are going through snuggle withdrawls (can't really hug when you just had your boob cut on, you know), our marriage is spectacular. We are learning more and more about love each year with each other. We're learning that marriage isn't about making the other person (or yourself) happy, it's about reflecting LOVE to others. We are contemplating starting a family in the next couple of years. Scary!! But it's still a ways off, and we're enjoying our baby-free lifestyle for now.
We've gotten more into our backpacking. New gear, new stuff to try out on the trail. It's pretty exciting, too! We're waiting for warmer weather, and the doctor's okay to get back to physical activity for me. SOON!! Mere months away. Luckily, I have acquired a small amount of patience. I think it's from working in customer service. *shrug*
So that's it. Life freakin' rocks. How've you been?
