It's been two weeks, and like a bad little girl I've neglected this again. So here goes nothing...
This weekend I went to Chicago. What a beautiful city! And the weather was great for walking, which my family did extensively. And my pictures of the lake are awesome... I love my camera! For you Florida veterans, and Sarah Glassman, it's my massive, beastly, amazing camera. I love to travel... if you plan to go somewhere, anywhere, and are looking for a travel buddy, please call me. I won't hesitate to come.
Diving has started, but sadly, I haven't touched the water. Last week's captains' practices were to cold to get into the water. Forty-five degrees in August is disgusting. And very very very cold. And, because of schedule conflicts, per usual, I haven't been able to make a practice this week. So, I begin next week. Oh well.
Marching band seems to be going well. My section is very competent, and the other section leaders are great. Hopefully, tomorrow won't be so cold as today. I have never seen goosebumps as big as those that appeared on my arms! Then again, I am always cold, so oh well.
My job is wonderful. The kids were really amiable today. We just hung around the house all morning, and in the afternoon we went and bought their parents flowers for their anniversary. It was Syd's idea. She's such a sweet girl! And so smart. But I'm sure you have heard all about her already.
The museum rocks, but I didn't go this week. I skipped for band. Oh well. But it's still a blast every time I go. And you meet such cool people, not to mention darling kids. Haha...
Well, baisically, that's the overview of my life. Funny, when it's all laid out it doesn't look as busy as I feel. What can you do. More later, but hopefully not much later! Ciao
