For the first time all week work is actually going quite slow, then again it is only 11:20 in the morning ?lol. I like this time that I have when there are no clients. I can catch up on mail, write some old friends, get online and chat with people who I never or rarely see. I need to spend more time with friends, it has been hard keeping up with everyone's busy life. Most of my days I'm with Bobby, in fact I believe I've stayed with him every night this week. For some reason I sleep better. At least I have the weekends, most everyone meets up on Saturdays and having the company of some of my closest friends is a comfort. I have been trying to make one on one time with people though... my friends are my family, and a big part of my life. Hopefully I'll get a cell phone in the near future so at least I can call people regularly. Some are hoping to move up to Arlington or Marysvile area by the end of this month, which I fully support cause then they'd all be close to Bobby and I - lol. I'm looking forward to our annual Hiking/Camping/Backpacking trip to Shi Shi beach. It's in just a little over a week, and so far only five people are going lol. I realize it can be a little expensive... you have food costs, ferry ride, parking, gas, and any other needed supplies. Comes out to 50 bucks a person, for a four day trip. Its all worth it however, just getting to sleep on the sand under the stars, jump in the ocean, explore the caves, check out the tide pools, get pictures of wild animals, cook your food over a fire, and most of all getting to spend all that time with the good company of friends. A part of me wishes we could get everyone out there... not just Brittany, Chris D, Megan, Bobby and I... but also Kassadi, Jennifer, Jesse, Bryan, Peter, Chris J, Ashley, April, Sean, Jeff, Sabrina, Nick, Juan, Jon, Brandon, Zack, Doug, Rob D., Rob B., Justine, Scott, and Will. However its hard enough just getting to see some of those people let alone have us all out there at the same time. Oh well, maybe next year people will be more inclined to come. Our trip last year we had a total of 17 of us who went, year before that 12. I think the trip with 12 was my favorite. We had good weather and for the first time in my life I got to see the Northern Lights... Aurora Borealis. This will be my 6th year going.
Money has been a bit of a struggling issue as of late, but God always provides and somehow I manage. Last month I made half of what I usually make, and I was getting pretty discouraged... yet somehow still optimistic lol. But then this month business has been really good. I desperately need new tires for my car, amongst other things, so I will hopefully take care of that this weekend. Between car insurance, gas, and my monthly loan payment... I'm barely left with anything. Work is well though, I'm the main massage therapist on staff and will probably start working more hours soon. Really things are at a cross road, and I'm hoping to 뱓ake the road less traveled?... lol there's a little Robert Frost for ya ;) By the end of next week I'll know if the new idea they've been contemplating will happen... if they're gonna hire me on as an Employee temporarily, instead of being an independent contractor, and pay me somewhere in the area of 17 dollars an hour. The nice thing about that is not only would I be making more money, but they'd take out taxes which doesn't happen with Independent Contractors. If that goes through I can start actually saving more money, pay all my bills, get that much needed cell phone, fix up my car, take better care of my Ferrets (they are in dire need of a new cage amongst other things), and still have some left over to take people out and afford b-day gifts.
Speaking of Birthdays... its a big month for that. I for some reason meet a lot of Leos, also Pisces but that makes since cause a think most people are drawn towards their own sign ?lol. Anyway, Chris D's b-day was the second which was on Tuesday, my brother Tim's b-day was the day after that, I know Will's is coming up on the tenth, and then Peter and Chris J. I believe both have their birthday on the 18th or 19th.. but don't quote me on that though, cause at the moment I'm having a brain fart and can't quite remember lol. Ok well I think I'm rambled on long enough ... once again I've left you guys with plenty of ready material. Lol sorry I'll try to make my entries shorter... then maybe I'll get notes *laughs* Just kidding ;) Take care all!!
Btw... who reads this thing anymore?
