Okay, here's a short run-down:

Thursday: Chum's with a couple of the usual kids.

Friday: (At Broda's) A deck of cards, a heiniken bottle, and one straight girl (Gina found while smokin in the street)later, we had a party. She clearly had no idea what she was getting into. We have totally become a story that she will tell her friends at parties as in "Pssst - so this blue-mohawked chick gave me a drag of her cig and then invited me upstairs to a party, and guess what... IT WAS FULL OF LESBIANS!!"

Saturday: My little shindig, explained in previous post.

Sunday: The farm and J Pond with the co-op kids. They really are dirty hippies. There was naked mud wrestling, strong barley beer, and wierd swamp creatures that nibbled on me. I learned how to open a beer bottle with a carabeener. Then we all cooked together - I was drunk and my hands smelt of garlic and pesto as I ran around the house barefoot, in a skirt, playing Oasis on guitar (basically my dream life). There was eating and singing wonderfulness. I'm going to fit right in there. Me and Liz Thompson (L.T.) are going to start a folk band, or so she tells everybody. Then Lizz (roommate called) and I went to steal her away from her home (chauffered by L.T.). We went back to the apartment and smashed ice down onto the pavement. It has that same breaking-glass effect that makes you feel really releaved. At 12 I met Ariel at the gas station and we went to Cafe 210 to meet up with the co-op kids for L.T.'s 21st. After she got kicked out of Cafe 210 for sneaking liquor, we went to the Phyrst were we knew they'd serve her. There was a good band playing and we drank Irish Carbombs and danced around the tables. We left there and headed to Players, were people started getting naked and making out again (not me). The end of the night ended with a "dance party" in the co-op. I put it in quotes for reasons that will remain undescribed.

Monday: Last tutoring session with Rachel Wass. and then thai lunch with Gina. Things didn't really get interesting until around 7 pm when we got randomly inviting to Ash E.'s coming home party. Tom wasted no time in getting us drunk and giving us pizza. I found myself in the State College Park pool in my underwear for the 3rd time this month. There was volleyball and chicken and wrestling. I took Ash E. down, but she was too drunk to really be much competition. I wound up just taking care of her for most of the night than kickin her ass. Tom gave me his favorite pair of sweatpants to wear as me and Ariel walked back home (long fucking walk). I sat on Ariel's roof for a while with her watching the stars and talking. We saw a shooting star actually, which was awesome. Gina showed up around 1 or 2 and we hung out some more. Ariel made us ramen noodle.

So there you have it. All the highlights of the past 5 days. That's not to say things around here havn't been really hectic because they have. Most of the people the closest to me seem to be going to pieces, I've been drunk every one of these nights, and I have not really slept more than 4 hours in a night. I'm living, but it's making me so tired. I'm supposed to be going home today, but I think I'm going to put it off a little longer. I realize that if I don't get there before Friday, I'm really only gonna be home for a week and a few days (once the NH trip is added in). My parents are gonna love that. NOT. The thing is, this is my summer, and I don't want to spend the rest of it bored and alone in Huntingdon Valley. Like James said, "Your family had you for the first 18 years of your life. This is your time." I wish it was that easy.

Either way, it's been a good one - much better than I could have hoped for, in a place that I hated some three years ago.
