Goin' to the cha-pel, and we're go-nna get ma-a-rried...

Today was a busy busy busy day. Work from 9:30 to 5pm, then worked out for an hour, wolfed down dinner and then went shopping for the perfect day planner. After searching Barnes and Noble, Borders, Target, Meijer and Office Max, I found....an okay day planner. It's nothing special, but it will help me to keep my life together, because things are definitely getting crazy. Between work, working out, making trips to ISU and getting involved with a possibly really cool new path into a work force I may enjoy. To fill you in, I am working as an assistant event planner for a wedding tomorrow. How exciting is that?! A woman from JD works as an event planner and I told her that I have always wanted to be involved with work like that, and her help for this wedding fell through and she asked me if I was interested. and I of course agreed and am getting paid cold hard cash for my services, no taxes, no checks, nothing but green in my pockets. I really have no clue what I'll be doing other than helping set up for the ceremony, putting together center pieces, and whatever else needs to be done. I also have to pick up a dozen helium balloons and take them to the house where it's taking place, which is way up in Barrington. The woman, Lynn, who is the planner came into work today and gave me directions and stuff and she also whispered to me that there would be a couple celebrities there. Now, I'm not getting my hopes up, because people's definitions of "celebrities" are VERY different. It could be Samuel L. Jackson or Sean Penn....or it could be the Snapple Lady. Who knows, but I do know that if I meet some big ass celebrity, I'm going to be talking about it for years and think I'm better than you and will always bring it up...especially when drunk. ;) So tomorrow should be an exciting and very different day. who knows, maybe it'll be the beginning of a breakout career. But it all has to start with my frigging mandatory meeting at JD at 8:30am. Who has meetings this early? Dear God.
On another note, I will be at ISU next weekend to party, be naughty and have a day to play puppies and get nasty. Be prepared people, be prepared.
