Things are looking up
First things first, thanks to whoever sent me the v-gift! ♥
Secondly, I have a (temp) job! \o/ It's not like an actual temp job but the staffing services place I went to a few weeks ago called me today and said they needed someone to do some filing/Excel input and they wanted me! I mean, I know it's because one of the ladies who works there is one of my mom's oldest friends and I've known her forever, but still, I'll take what I can get. I don't know how long it's going to last (like a day or all week or what) but some money is better than nothing.
And of course, I finally got someone who I emailed about doing a website to email me back on the same day. I emailed her 2 months ago and got no response until today. But that will hopefully be something I can do too. \o/
Thirdly, I have things to say about tonight's Gossip Girl.
-So, what mysterious disease does Lily have? Is it cancer? Or is she not sick at all and Billy Baldwin is scheming to get back in her life? I'm gonna go with that one.
-Where is Eric when his parents finally show up after being gone most of his life?
-I hate Jenny Humphrey SO MUCH. I am not a long time Jenny hater, I liked her in season 1, I found her "let's drop out of school to be a fashion designer" storyline lolzy and even kind of enjoyed her hanging out with Damian and selling drugs but this shit of her trying to steal Nate away from Serena is INFURIATING. She's a life ruiner, she ruins people's lives. >:(
-I'm kind of glad Blair and Chuck took the backseat for this episode. I mean, I'm still furious at Chuck and I loved the last scene with Blair and Dorota but their drama is so exhausting when it's in the forefront of the show.
-Dan and Vanessa as nerds trying to date is actually kind of working for me. I mean, Dan's insufferable and stupid as always and I love all Vanessas, but they are acting like THE TOTAL super competitive nerd couple and I kind of love how semi-realistic that is because this show sucks at being realistic. I do hope that they make it, mostly for Vanessa's sake because I just want V to be happy. :(
-No seriously where is Eric?
-And speaking of missing persons, whatever happened to Scott aka Rufus and Lily's lovechild?
And for the preview for next week, if Serena van Der Woodsen is stupid enough to think that her dad and mom will get back together because of her shenanigans, she's going to make Nate look like a damn genius.
As for my thoughts on Dancing With the Stars, all I can say is oh orange bro. :( I usually give all my votes to Niecy, but I had to sneak in a couple for him. I don't understand what is happening to me. D:
Lately, I've been going through my WIPs (lol distracting myself from the BBB I will never finish) and it's kind of weird to me how different my writing style is in all of them. Like some are in present-tense and some are in past and some have tons of dialogue and others actually have scenes that are not all just Jon and Tom talking. (seriously, they're all Jon/Tom though, except for 2. lol most obsessed of shippers /o\). There are some I know I'll never finish but I was inspired to work on a couple as I was reading them, so maybe I'll actually finish a fic sometime! This week could seriously be 10000% more productive than any other week this year. \o/
Oh and Empires IS COMING TO NORTH CAROLINA. Sadly, it's Charlotte (which I hate) and Greensboro (which is awesome but I've never been to a show there) BUT STILL. I have a legit chance of seeing them this summer! :DDDD
