Went to apiphile's birthday gathering yesterday! It was full of People Who I Did Not Know (and even the People Who I Did Vaguely Know were People I Had Never Met) and I was therefore in a state of some alarm. But I did not faint! I even managed to speak a bit! Also, I turned up when only two people were there, rather than when the pub was full of strangers

Well, apiphile put a big post on her LJ saying 'YOU ARE ALL REQUIRED TO COME TO MY BIRTHDAY PARTY', so quite a lot of Livejournallers turned up. (We're quite close to each other geographically, aren't we? If you'd like a meet-up at some point, let me know.)

Mwahahahaha. I went to bed at seven this morning and got up again at ten and I am so fucking SORE you would not believe - Gordon tried to high-five EVERY SINGLE PERSON HE MET on the way home, Phil and Gordon climbed onto a bus stop and kind of ... leapt around terrifyingly, er ... oh, there was some amazingly bad and violent dancing, and I ... yes, I did pretty much drink them all. I think Louise STOLE one, but that was about it.

My god. I am never turning twenty-five again. Very glad you came and that it wasn't too, too intimidating!

It was impressively movie-stunt-esque stuff. Also, Phil decided to do some kind of backflip thing off the bushelter and SOMEHOW DIDN'T DIE. Most impressive.
