I have now completed the Kingdom Hearts III world with the dandelion enemies! Time to go to the world I was supposed to visit third.
I love that Sora doesn't even question the rat chef. And why would he? He's friends with a duck and a dingo.
I cannot believe how accidentally romantic the Kairi-and-Axel dynamic is. Look, game, if you're trying to suggest Kairi/Sora with the 'unspoken feelings' line, you screwed up by using it under a picture of Kairi smiling at Axel.

I CAN'T BELIEVE I CAN'T DANCE WITH FLYNN IN THIS STUPID DANCING MINIGAME, THIS IS OUTRAGEOUS. I could at least dance with the male townsfolk, though!
I stopped in the middle of combat to take a selfie, and somehow this feels like the most Kingdom Hearts thing possible, even though selfies weren't really a thing when Kingdom Hearts II came out.
As much as I love Flynn/Rapunzel, and I love it a lot, the way he took away her agency in the ending of the film never sat well with me, and I was hoping this game would do something different.
Flynn appears to die in Rapunzel's arms, and the boys are looking sadly on, and all I can think is DONALD, IF THERE WERE EVER A FUCKING TIME TO USE CURE-
I love the way Flynn looks at Rapunzel. The best Disney pairing.
Sora: Well, if the guy controlling the Heartless comes back, Flynn can keep Rapunzel safe.

Here is my proposed solution to Roxas's lack of a body: put him in the Riku replica, now Sora has two boyfriends who look like Riku, perfect outcome. (Come to think of it, could Even build a Roxas replica if we track him down?)
I wrote that just before Riku brought up the possibility of a replica body for Roxas! Although it sounds like the Roxas-Riku idea may not be feasible.
