Ooh! You know what I would like to see? I would like to see Dean Smith and Sam Wesson discovering that they have matching tattoos. Each has a different false-memory explanation for the tattoo. Smith is convinced that Wesson must have broken into his flat to watch him sleep or something, seen the tattoo and decided to get an identical one in an attempt to convince Smith that they have some sort of soulbond. It would be excellent.
When I was watching 'It's a Terrible Life', of course, the thought occurred to me that the false memories may very well have been the fault of Derren Brown. I have only just realised that this would make Derren Brown an angel. Derren is the angel sent to partner Castiel after Uriel's death? Yes. (Oh, poor Castiel. Why do you get all the heretics?)
"You call her 'Anna'?" There is a flicker in his voice that Castiel recognises as amusement.
"It is the name by which she wishes to be called."
"But it's not the name the Creator gave her," Ithuriel says, scrutinising Castiel's facial expression. "You're comfortable with that?"

I cannot decide whether such a fic would result in Derren/Castiel or not. Castiel's love for Dean is so true that I hesitate to pair him with anyone else.
