I have been rewatching second-season episodes of House! And I've never really read much House fanfiction, but there are a couple of fics that I think I would pounce on and devour like a starving wolf (that, er, eats fanfiction) if anyone were to write them ( Read more... )

Agreed with you on your first prompt. The nearest we get to SF in House is 3x02 "Cane and Able", but even that (no spoilers) has a prosaic, if mind-bending, ending.

Was that the one with the aliens? You see, had it turned out that there actually had been aliens, that would... well, it would have been completely ridiculous. But also great.

I really want to see how the Princeton-Plainsboro crew would handle a time loop. Or, rather, how a particular character would handle it, because time loops are more fun when only one character is actually aware of it. Chase would probably be the most entertaining.

Yes, that would be wacky and brilliant. Or, if one of the staff turned out to be an alien, and one of the B-plots was someone trying to find this out and someone else trying to stonewall the investigation...

I bet Wilson's the alien. There's something not entirely human about those eyebrows. House originally suggests it as a joke and is delighted when he turns out to be right.

That could work. Other than the obvious artefacts of his life (the McGill sweater and the certificates in his office, for instance), some of which could be planted, we really don't know that much about Wilson's backstory.
