The Title Is Amazing, By The Way.

I feel completely blasphemous for saying this, because what sort of madwoman wants less Bobby?, but I really do think that perhaps Bobby is more awesome in small doses. Although 'Shoot! Don't talk!' was brilliant. Also, I would have liked more Ruby and Castiel, because Castiel utterly fascinates me (even if he wasn't quite so aethereal and otherworldly in this episode; where did that go?) and, you know, Ruby! (New Ruby didn't bother me so much in this episode, although I am quite saddened to see that she's probably not going to be frequently jumping bodies throughout this season. It looks like her occasional unRubyish behaviour is largely because the 'angel' thing is freaking her out, at any rate. So I'll forgive you for the moment, Ruby, but, you know, any time you want to go back to being sarcastic and awesome...?)

(I think my parenthetical point is COME BACK TO ME, PREVIOUS ASPECTS OF RECURRING SUPERNATURAL CHARACTERS.

...AND BY 'SUPERNATURAL CHARACTERS' I MEAN CHARACTERS THAT ARE SUPERNATURAL, NOT CHARACTERS OF SUPERNATURAL. ALTHOUGH OF COURSE I MEAN THAT AS WELL.

SUPERNATURAL SUPERNATURAL CHARACTERS?)

My sexualtensionometer was definitely going off during that last scene between Castiel and Dean, but of course any physical Castiel/Dean is impossible (or at least, you know, creepy) because Castiel is possessing someone. I have a theory that demons (and, presumably, angels) can choose how conscious their hosts are, so a malicious demon like Meg will force her hosts to watch as she uses their bodies whilst a presumably-less-malicious demon like Ruby will let her host sleep through the possession, but I think that even if Castiel's host were unaware of what was going on Dean/Castiel would still be uncomfortable. Stupid pairings that are simultaneously hot and morally unjustifiable.
