Happy birthday to
eva_kasumi! May all your dreams come true. (Assuming they're not like those dreams I have of being chased by dinosaurs, and dying when the coach I'm in takes a shortcut off a cliff, and being trapped in Balamb Garden and forced to commit suicide by casting Holy on myself. Yes.)
Shockingly enough, I have yet to acquire a copy of Half-Blood

...oh, sorry, wrong entry.
I'm buying it today. (I've already seen the blurb, actually, but that doesn't tell you much except . Although...you've probably seen it as well xD Still, just in case.) I fully expect Lupin to die, but I agree that Neville saving the world next book with Mrs Norris as his sidekick would be oddly awesome.
My dad recently gave me a tennis racquet (racket? o.o) type thing with which to zap bugs. The idea, I believe, is that you turn it on and hit the bug with it, and the electric current running through it fries the bugs. I'll try it next time a hyperactive hornet comes into my room and let you know how I get on xDD Maybe it's something you want to invest in.

Perhaps a bug zapper would be a good idea. If it's more effective than a book, that'd be great. Of course, what I really need is some sort of forcefield that keeps mosquitoes from entering the room at all. The current situation is something like this:
Riona: *looks around the entire room before turning off the light*
*pause*
Mosquito: eeeeeeeeeeeeee...
Riona: ...is there a mosquito? Am I just imagining mosquito noises again?
Mosquito: eeeeeeeeeeeeeEEEEEEEEEEE!
Riona: ARGH. *turns on light, hunts down mosquito, whacks it with book, turns off light again*
*pause*
Mosquito: ...eeeeeeeeeeeee...
EVERY SINGLE NIGHT.

If there's a mosquito in my room it tends to eventually fly into my cool little orb light and die. Unfortunately, sometimes it doesn't. It's not even being bitten that I mind - I just wish they'd be *quiet* about it. In the airport in Milan the other year year there were some massive mosquitos...I never did fall asleep...
...this is making you feel wildly better. I can tell.
(Also, seeing as you're clearly online, why aren't you on MSN?)
